Fall 2026 MCPt New Student Orientation (NSO) – Cohort 14
This video captures the Fall 2026 New Student Orientation for Cohort 14 of the University of Redlands Master’s in Counseling and Psychotherapy (MCPt) program. International students were welcomed by Kristin Grammer, Student Success Advisor, who provided an overview of program expectations, academic requirements, student resources, and support services available throughout their studies.
Featured presenters include Dr. Ai Yang, Department Chair, who introduced the counseling program and the School of Education; Baohua Liu, who discussed English language support classes designed to help students strengthen their proficiency and meet program requirements; and Michelle Kanu, Enrollment Counselor, who reviewed important graduate admission requirements, including transcript evaluation, CSSD verification, personal statement submission, and English language proficiency standards.
The session also covers key student processes such as accessing the university portal, course registration, tuition payments, and utilizing academic support resources including the library and writing assistance services. Students are encouraged to communicate with faculty regarding their admission status and to connect with university support staff whenever questions arise about program requirements or the application process.
This recording serves as a helpful resource for new MCPt international students as they begin their academic journey at the University of Redlands.
